Holding Time

This watercolor piece reflects on my personal experience of motherhood and the shifting perception of time that can accompany it. During this period, time can feel contradictory — moving too quickly while certain moments seem to remain suspended in the present.

The work touches on the emotional tension between connection and disconnection, and on the more complex and often unspoken aspects of early motherhood, including the experience of postpartum depression.
