Hello, I’m Vânia
I’m the illustrator behind Little & Poetry
I am a Portuguese illustrator living in Germany with my husband and my two sons. My work is inspired by memory, motherhood, nature, and the quiet poetry of everyday life. Through watercolor and drawing, I create intimate and symbolic scenes that reflect on time, tenderness, and the beauty of small moments.
I’m especially drawn to themes of childhood, the feminine, and the natural world. Flowers, small figures, and organic elements often appear in my illustrations as fragments of memory — quiet visual stories about connection, care, and the invisible threads that exist between people, places, and moments in time.
Illustration, for me, is a way of preserving what feels fragile and meaningful, and of finding poetry in the simplest things.
